4/365: Cracking a Kraken

Subjugating it to my will through judicious application of Kernel Hax0ring. This involves seven years of code archaeology and three-way merging to get the Ethernet driver a little less flaky, because the customer isn't willing to upgrade to a (much!) newer kernel.
