I've been a big fan of M. Night Shamylan's work, ever since being blown away by the Sixth Sense. He has a gift for building the atmosphere of suspense and bringing out the raw emotions in his characters.

The Village was no exception. Even though you may guess the secret(s) earlier than revealed.. you feel everything going on. At its heart are several love stories, and the things we go through for love.
