[ from advogato, entry #26 ]

I'm typing this now on a full host-based WEP system. Yay! Only had to perform some major hacking on the guts of the copy_to_bap code. But I guess I'll just continue on my revamping of the prism2 NSD to meet my aesthetic sense. And it needs a lot of work. The trickier part will be in keeping the internal tree (with support for non-prism cards) in sync; no mean feat as that tree is currently under heavy development.

Anyhow! Next up: interrupt-driven commands. That's going to be a big pain -- I'm going to have to change the internal structure of the docmd_* (and possibly its callers!) rather significantly...

One thing worries me about my most recent pile of changes -- they may not work on architectures that require aligned accesses. But that's what the '-pre' in the name is for. :)

Got the replacement drives for the ones that failed in Shaftnet. They sent me a pair of Atlas V's instead of the older Atlas IVs that I originally sent 'em. Not that I'm complaining! Too bad I don't have a use for these drives right now..
